Research On Decision-making Of Cold Chain Logistics Outsourcing

With the developing of economic, people's life are better and better, and then, they pay more attention to the quality of food. Thus a new term-cold chain products came into our life gradually. Cold chain products need special environment like low temperature, humidity and so on in every section of logistic, and because of the mismatch environment, dropping of quality is irreversible. Although cold chain products need more special conducts in environment, because of its huge requirement, many enterprises focus their main business on cold chain products.For cold chain products'special requirement in environment, enterprise needs to establidh the special freezing investment, cold storage, and the cold vehicles to confirm the quality of products. But the investment of these fixed facilities are 3 to 5 times than normal products, and they need professional technical people to support and maintence them. Each logistic link needs connected better. Thus, these conditions make more challenge for enterprises. More and more enterprises put their eyes into the third party logistic business, and they hope with the help of outsourcing the logistic, they can get the effect of low investment, low loss and high return.Although outsourcing is more and more popular, it didn't fit for every enterprise. In China, cold chain logistic is in the primary stage, and the market has not yet mature. If people choose outsourcing the logistic aimless, it will cause the chaos in management. But if people don't change the operation pattern, there will be the waste of resource and shortage of information. With the intensification of market competition, more and more enterprise outsource their cold chain logistic, to focuse more capital on their core business. And the appearing of bar code technology and electronic order system, makes the costs more lower, the service more perfect, and provides new opportunities for logistic. With the opportunities and risks, how to choose the appropriate mode is the important strategic decision for enterprise.In this article, based on many literatures and materials, we contrast the advantages and disadvantages in two modes that the self-support logistic and outsourcing logistic, summary the current situation in and outside, and then list part of research results that other scholars arrivied。Based on this, we analysis the factors for cold chain logistic outsourcing in the view of strategy, economy and management. Combining with the risk and the influence of logsitic providers, we bulid a cold chain logistic outsourcing decision model, and then choose the FAHP methord,which we do some improvement. At last, there will be a case to introduce how to put the model into use.
