Case Reseach Of Z Company Cold Chain Logistic

Cold chain of agricultural production is one of the special mode of supply chain management, along with the development of supply chain management and popularization of consumption view of green, environmental protection and health, the cold chain of agricultural production emerged. Althoug “Cold chain” is a new word to many Chinese civilians, it is an industry with full of challenges and chances. However, in many countries, cold chain has already become a mature logistics industry and an indispensable part in agricultural supply chain.Now “minor production and big market” seriously restrict the backbone industry ability of agricultural products. The best way to solve this problem is to develop logistics industry, when we use agricultural products logistics to solve the problem, we should start with understanding the characteristics of it.Abiding by “linking theory with practice” principle, combining the research achievements by national and international cold chain logistics on agricultural production, and start with analysis on “green agricultural production supply chain management mode” which advocated by ZESPRI, we come to a conclusion that agricultural production is the same as other productions, which need to build brand, ensure the quality, identify the market position and provide good advertisement. The agricultural production company should enhance awareness on cold chain logistics, because it is the basic assurance in the circulation. This thesis aims at providing cold chain concept for domestic enterprises. We also hope to discuss the specificity of agricultural production logistics, analyze the problems and solutions and provide research result for domestic agricultural production logistics theory and practice through this research.Aiming at lacking of industrialization concept and logistics support of cold chain, this thesis provides the concept and other relevant theories about cold chain logistics first, Then give an comprehensive analysis on national and international cold chain logistics environment. In the 4th and 5th part, it pays much attention on the example of ZESPRI(the world top ten fruit and vegetable company), whose operation in cold chain and performance management can help the domestic agricultural production enterprises to analysis their advantages and disadvantages, and adopt different cold chain strategies according to different development phases.
