A Study On The Agricultural Extension Of The Nanjing Agricultural University In One Hundred Years History

China has been a agricultural country from ancient times. Farmers hold eighty percent or more population of the country. Everybody knows agriculture is the state's foundation. So, University agricultural education should serve the agriculture, rural areas and the peasants. This point is an inevitable trend.Nanjing Agricultural University is one of the earliest agricultural universities in China. Its growth is not only relates to the changes of times and society closely, but also depend on the agricultural extension's development. Nanjing Agricultural University has the advantages with technology, human resources and information. It has contributed to Chinese agricultural and social development by agricultural extension's exploration and practice. Therefore, it is an indispensable part of Chinese pluralistic extension system.
