Program management and progress control has been an important part of project management and also the base and important determinants of the successful implementation of the project, thus, the effective project management and progress control has been the central task of project management. Progress control theory, which is widely used and plays an important role in project management, is a very important part of the project schedule management in the actual process of project management, however, the application of the theory is not optimistic in our country especially in the private agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises for various reasons.This thesis studies the program management and progress control of Shan Jin Company (SJ), which on one hand can ensure the successful completion of SJ expansion project and on the other hand can promote the development of the project management practice in private agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises, so that the development of the project management practice is advanced and the theory of program management and progress control is enriched.The main content of this thesis is as follows. In the first part, current situation of program management and progress control of SJ expansion project is analyzed and some problems are discovered to give reference to the follow-up research. In the second part, influence factors of plan and progress control are analyzed, whose causal hierarchy is clarified to do preparatory work for the part of the problem solving. In the last part, the flow system of the program management and progress control of SJ expansion project is build up, the Specific work is as follows. Firstly, tasks and responsibilities are decomposed, working hours are estimated, process are arranged, network planning of project progress is made up, and plan is managed and optimized. Then the project progress is controlled in accordance with the process of the dynamic monitoring, the comparison and analysis and the adjustment.
