With the constant expansion of shipbuilding industry, the impact of the cyclical fluctuations of shipbuilding market and the international financial crisis on the development of shipbuilding industry is increasing. In China, there is no longer the absolute advantage in low labor costs and the sufficient source, the lag of production and management techniques are not able to meet the need of the rapid changing market and international development. Therefore, how to use the advanced manufacturing technology and management concepts to improve shipbuilding productivity and quality, to shorten shipbuilding cycle, and to cut down the costs, become the core issues of shipbuilding enterprises. This thesis takes the construction of hull blocks as the research object; it is supported by the theory of lean manufacturing, and uses the methods of the ARIS business process modeling analysis to study logistics unit and logistics rhythm in the construction of hull blocks. First, based on the survey in several domestic shipbuilding enterprises, the status of the sub-parts logistics is analyzed and the problems of the sub-parts logistics is proposed in the hull blocks construction. Then, using the ARIS business process modeling theory and methods, a general, idealized logistics model is established in sub-component construction of hull blocks. Finally, based on the ARIS modeling theory and methods, an empirical study is proposed in this thesis on a shipbuilding enterprise. Combining with the actual situation of a ship production, the main impact factors of logistics balance is analyzed in hull construction process, and a range of balanced and rational logistics measures are proposed in the construction of hull blocks to meet the requirements of balance of lean manufacturing and continuous logistics. The thesis introduces the ARIS business process modeling theory and method to the workshop-level segment in the hull block construction, From the perspective of most microscopic "objects" in ship construction, the author dismantles and analyzes the internal logistics of the workshop, establishes a lean construction model of hull section, and then proposes the path and solution to achieve a balanced logistics in the hull block construction, so as to provide the ideas and inspiration to achieve the ship lean construction.
