| Along with China's economic growth and rising living standards, China's aerospace industry is growing at unimaginable pace. The establishment of China Commercial Aircraft Company in 2008 and launch of C919 project marks the start-up of major strategy by the State Council to build an innovative country, to improve our capability of independent innovation and enhance the country's core competitiveness. Compared to the international aerospace market growth rate, China's market is clearly become a global hot spots. However, as a developing country, China still has insufficient experience for the aviation and aerospace industry, which is technology and capital intensive, and hard to apply in the commercial area. Therefore, multinational aerospace companies own the cost advantages when expanding their business into fast-growing Chinese market. At the same time, they encounter the issues in how to choose local suppliers, how to response to unpredictable emerging market risks and etc. This article focuses on enhancing companies'capability in improving the efficiency of supply chain integration and cost reduction by research of vendor selection and process optimization in the aerospace product transfer project, so as to help companies ultimately to achieve growth goal as well as the overall development strategy in the aerospace market.Practice shows that, through the analysis on domestic suppliers'actual development situation, improvement by six sigma DMAIC tools and the combination use of AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and network analysis (Analytic Network Process), a suitable selection system for domestic suppliers is developed for Company A. And in the subsequent transfer and supply chain integration phase, the use of DOE and injection modeling knowledge helps supplier complete the ramp-up phase which greatly help Company A perform more efficiently and more successfully in product transfer projects, and escalate the project management efficiency, cost savings and market growth in transfer. |
