Study On Behavioral Characteristics Of Eco-tourists In Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort

Ecotourism has become a main development tendency of the present world tourism, and a new development direction of nature reserves. Ecotourism advocates the sustainable development idea such as protecting resources and environment, educating tourists and bringing benefit to local people, so various places have carried out ecotourism vigorously since its birth. As the subject in the ecotourism activities, eco-tourists play a key role in the healthy development of ecotourism. However, due to rapid growth of tourists to Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort,administrators of scenic regions face pressure from various aspects, and know clearly that the key factor for sustainable and healthy development of ecotourism relies on whether they can understand the features and behaviors of eco-tourists.Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort is the natural and cultural heritage of China. Over the years, many foreign experts and scholars pay a lot of attention, the emergence of a large number of scientific research, investigation and other aspects of research results. However, people mainly focused on the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort in the forest ecosystem, tourism, resource evaluation, tea cultivation and production, but few on cultural aspects of behavior on the ecological characteristics.As a result of fundamental research's insufficiency, to the eco-tourists' management of Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort, causes the management measure not pointed, is too broad. Based on numerous theoretical researches, the paper has discussed research system to identify eco-tourists by applying behavior identification, expert discriminance and math identification with the popular rationale of strict and common ecotourism system. Furthermore, the paper has carried out questionnaire survey by taking Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort for example, and completed statistical analysis on survey data with SPSS statistical software. The paper has carried out empirical study on influencing factors for behavioral characteristic and demographical characteristic of tourists to Wuyi Mountain, and divide three types of eco-tourists such as strict eco-tourists, middle eco-tourists and common eco-tourists. Finally, the paper has put forwards corresponding sort management measures. The paper has certain significance for it has provided basic support data and theoretical basis for the research of our ecotourism market.
