With the development of economy and the concept of updates, China's lighting industry has entered into a rapid development stage, but the number of SMEs has account for the main body. For them, the internal and external fierce competition of industry are both opportunities and challenges.Talent is the key to SMEs, but there are many management deficiencies, especially in human resource management. It is necessary to develop and make good use of human resources if the enterprises want to have a long feet development.This paper selects the fast growing A-company as a research object, it is a 12-year-old small and medium sized illumination enterprise, which located in Shantou City, Guangdong Province. the story of its beginning, development and growth with many common things in the industry. The paper using management and relevant human resource management theory, combined with the production managemen situation of A-company, using macro and micro method, theory with practice law and combining questionnaire method. Firstly analyzes the overall situation and characteristics of lighting industry, A-company's development process, organizational structure, analyze the existing human resources situation from aspects such as personnel distribution, the staff age structure, and educational structure. Then through the SWOT method to analyze the company human resources strategy, to sum up its internal strengths and weaknesses, external opportunities and threats, to provide the basis for company's reform of human resources management. Next analyzes the human resources management of internal problems and the insufficiency in detail. Such as the manager with limitation consciousness of management, For lack of job analysis and manpower planning, limited training restricts the potential of the staff. The imperfect of performance evaluation system do not enough to motivate their enthusiasm and initiative, the oneness of salary management and lack of welfare, etc, so many problems led to very high legal risks of human resources management. Facing the situation of the company, finally pertinently put forward concrete measures for improvement. First, to clear company human resource management guiding ideology and principle, second, remodeling enterprise culture and re-know the relationships between human resource management and the enterprise culture construction. Perfect human resource planning, reconstruction of the performance evaluation system and salary management system, while improved training system and establish employee communication and complaint system.Although this study selects A-company as the research object, other SMEs in the industry face the same common problems. Take these suggestions can also hope to peer of small and medium-sized enterprises, which can be used for reference to improve the whole level of human resource management and the efficiency.
