With economic globalization and knowledge of information technology development,SMEs facing unprecedented competition. Human resources are the core of the knowledgeeconomy, and performance appraisal is the core of human resource management, thesuccessful implementation of performance appraisal, not only can help enterprises toimprove management efficiency, to help managers improve the management level, andcan effectively target decomposition and progressively drill implementation enablesenterprises to achieve the intended strategic objectives. So how from their own mining,established to promote human resources development in its performance appraisal systemis the key to whether the development and growth of SMEs.In this paper, empirical analysis and case analysis, theory and practice of combiningmethods, starting from the concept of human resource performance appraisal, assessmentmethods and other related theories, summarizes the various performance appraisalresearch results at home and abroad, combined with China’s SMEs Situation of humanresources performance appraisal and the problems of the status quo T human resourcesand performance management problems in a comprehensive investigation and analysis,pointing out that the performance appraisal system in the implementation process,assessment standards, assessment methods and assessment results the presence offeedback, etc. shortage of human resources for SME performance appraisal system fordesign studies and put forward the feasibility of implementing the recommendations of thecorresponding hope for reform and socio-economic development of SMEs play a role.
