In recent years, due to the accelerated emergence of global market and technology revolution, competition around product market becomes increasingly fierce, and manufacturing is also undergoing dramatic transition. With the rapid development of manufacturing industry, manufacturing enterprises have gradually taken shape into distributed network based production and management mode, in which enterprise can use all sorts of distributed, heterogeneous manufacturing resources rapidly and flexibly. However, in networked manufacturing mode, customer demands are complex and dynamic, while traditional inventory management methods are only for single enterprise cannot adapt to the rapid response and customer oriented networked manufacturing environment. So the study of the demand for networked manufacturing environment in the inventory management method has important theoretical significance and application value.According to the two-echelon inventory structure composed for central and plant warehouses in the networked manufacturing environment, by considering the coordination mechanism between each inventory point and introducing the allocation policy, an two-echelon inventory control mathematical model is constructed, based on which the corresponding two generation competition genetic algorithm is designed to calculate out the purchase planning, distribution planning and allocation planning.Aimed at central warehouse are facing uncertain demands from plants, based on EOQ model, this paper proposes an inventory control policy for central warehouse by considering dynamic emergency ordering method. By comparing the expected total cost whether to choose emergency replenishment or not, the policy provides method to decide the emergency order point and emergency order quantity so as to ensure timely material supply while stay at minimal overall inventory cost.An optimal inventory control policy is introduced for a inventory-production system, which consists of a production workshop and a warehouse. By constructing a queuing system with limited queue buffer size and stochastic lead time and a Markov decision process method is used to find the optimal inventory control policy (the dynamic reorder point). By apply this policy, plant warehouse can decide the reorder point by taking both the demand information from customer and remaining inventory quantity into account, which could diminish the uncertainty caused by stochastic lead time, therefore ensure the prompt supply of material. Finally, the inventory management prototype system is designed and developed. The design of overall framework, system character, key business process, system function and database are introduced together with the realization technology. And some of the main interfaces are shown in the end.
