Organizational commitment is a promise of organization membership, which is a state of mind that reflect the relationship between employee and organization, which is emotional or intellectual input and devotion of the staff to the organization, which implies the decision on whether employee remain in an organization. Organizational commitment has an effect on employee work attitude and performance, so it plays a vital role on existence and development of the organization.However, domestic study on the relation between organizational commitment and Job Performance is very late, and it is studied by the multiple qualitative research method. And scholars'researches on relationship between organizational commitment and job performance are mostly focused on employees of the enterprise,what are focused on sales staff are relatively little, particularly on domestic sales staff. Therefore, the current situation provide us a great space on in-depth study of domestic sales staff on relationship between organizational commitment and job performance, which can help us that understanding the situation of organizational commitment of sales staff, forecasting performance levels of sales staff, providing the theoretical basis and guidance to strengthening the human resource management. The research has great theoretical and practical significance.Based on the comprehensive review of the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance, 225 salesmen in Nanchang were tested by questionnaire survey method. Considering of the specific characteristics of the sample used in this paper, the scale is an improved version based on two Chinese scholars'academic achievement, which is shown as follows:"scale of five factors commitment structure model"created by Ling Wenquan, Zhang Zhican and Fang Liluo in 2000, and"scale of four-component conceptual model or job performance"developed by Han Yi, Liao Jianqiao, and Zhang Lirong in 2007.By using SPSS software, make reliability analysis, descriptive analysis, ANOVA, correlation analysis as well as regression analysis about the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance. The result shows that the relationship between organization commitment and job performance is highly positive correlated, such that job performance is higher if organization commitment is higher, vice versa. To be more specific, ideal commitment is significantly positive correlated with all four dimensions in job performance; normative commitment is significantly positive correlated with all but innovation performance; opportunity commitment is highly negative correlated with all four dimensions in job performance; economic commitment is only highly positive correlated with task performance.
