Railway Freight Station To Expand Logistics Service Mode Theory And Empirical Research

In order to survive in the long-term and pursue a sustainable development during the fierce competition in the transport market, it is of vital importance to find a new way for railway transportation industry. Nowadays the development of the modern logistics thesis provides new guiding and development ideology to the revolution of freight station. Therefore, the study which aims to explore the expansion of logistics service modes of railway freight station has significant realistic meaning for the promotion of railway development.From studying the trend of development of the modern logistics industry as well as the current situation of the rail freight's development, this paper analyzes the SWOT of the integration between railway freight and modern logistics. Based on the successful development experiences of railway logistics from developed countries, this paper comes up with several mode, guideline, plan and strategy for the combination of railway freight and logistics.Based on the analysis about the current situation of domestic and abroad rail freight logistics industry, this paper studies how to expand our rail freight station logistics services mode and provides several operational modes of logistical service in the railway freight station according to China's development of rail freight station.On the consideration of the strategic level and strategy level, it illustrates the safeguard measures to expand the railway logistics services. Finally, this paper takes Hohhot Railway bureau as a the specific operational programs and measures.
