Automation is an important condition and significant signs of the modernization of industry,agriculture,national defense and science and technology, Which is an application-oriented discipline with a strong practice, Experimental teaching plays a very large proportion in the automation education,Which is the key to cultivate the students' practical ability and innovation abilityIn foreign universities, automation experiment is potluck, the experimental teaching is an organic part of the theory teaching, which bear by the laboratory of all kinds of each course in the university, especially the open laboratory for the students.In the open laboratory, the students are able to choose and design the experiment independently,and they can verify the contrast in various ways,that can be beneficial to the students' learning. but in land, most experimental teaching now is still the traditional teaching mode, the older teaching mode not only lose the due effect, but also become durance of the innovative talents. According to the feedback of the student's experience and each channel in the employment processes, in the recent years, the ability of automation graduates is declining year by year, and the students who can enter into scientific and research institutions and the high-level position are becoming less and less.Point at the problems and shortages existing in the automation laboratory teaching, From this, the paper proposed a network laboratory monitoring management system of the heterogeneous equipment.This system mainly applies the multilevel distributed structure, the control layer is composed of PLC,intelligent instruments and DCS, the characteristics of the system is that:Firstly, the students may choose the control system which is easier in treatmenting and operating to carry out experiments according to the different control variables; Secondly, they can verity the system's rationality and effectiveness through the application testing to the practical application projects; This article will focus on hardware's overall form design,the design of communication program,the design of the monitoring software to introduce the development process of the whole system, the part of hardware design PLC,DCS and intelligent instrument controller mainly apply the German company Siemens S7PLC multi-loop controllers of the United States Honeywell UMC800, and the process controller of Zheda SUPCON's C3000process controller.The software is main developed in the configuration and VB environment, including the protocol and writing of general communication,the design of the monitoring system,the design of the management system, etc.This system can meet the students'basic independent design demand in the automation laboratory.Apart from above all, it can help students to learn more and wider knowledge, extend the range of students' knowledge, and can do it better to make them to think about the problems and hands-on experience, not go blindly to do the repetitive and replication experiment.the students' independent innovation and practice ability was improved, and it possesses practical and research value.
