In engineering institutions, the study in the courses of control or relatedprofessionals need be combined with experiments. However, many universitiesare facing the shortage of experimental resources because of the high cost ofexperimental facilities and the low utilization of traditional experimentalmethods or equipments.In order to solve the problem above, this subject is based on the foreignmethod by the virtual laboratory and the combination of software and hardware.The study object of process control is double-tank system. We designed anetworking process control experimental platform of double-tank system. Theexperimental platform mainly consists of double-tank liquid level system, sensortransmitter circuit module, network module that is, data conversion module, POEpower supply module, water pump valve and operator terminal. Sensor signalsconvert to standard industry voltage by transmitter conditioning modules, andthen the signals send to network module in RS332date form after A/Dconversion. According to the network protocol, they send to the Ethernet afterbeing transformed into RJ45in network module. The upper computer receivesdates and then presents the control signals into the Ethernet. At last, RJ45transform into RS232, which be send to controller.This paper designs the system hardware circuit in which the POE powersupplies power for system. Then the design and implement method of systemsoftware and the main program flow are introduced. The network moduletransforms the date, realizes the networking and realizes the multi-terminaloperations. Humanoid intelligent control algorithm is simulated throughMATLAB and experiment platform is joint debugged. It shows that manyoperating terminals can connect with network modules in the LAN, which helps to supervise the whole process of experiment platform by data transceiver. Thissubject greatly improves the convenience to teaching and reduces the shortage ofexperimental equipment to some extent.
