As an important and measurable parameters in the modern industrial production activities, the temperature can play an important role on the real-time monitoring of the operating status of equipment, production environment and external factors.lt is to ensure that the entire production activities are carried out efficiently. The importance of temperature is particularly highlighted in the field of construction, electricity, water conservancy and metallurgy engineering.In the engineering safety monitoring project,if the temperature is too high or too low, it may cause a safety hazard for some projects,for example,in construction engineering,if the temperature inside the concrete is too high, it will lead to harmful cracks on concrete surfaces,and sometimes even runs through the cracks. However, satisfaction and accurate temperature data is not so easy, inappropriate choice of measuring instruments and measuring measuring methods will also affect the measurement results. So an accurate and useful temperature measurement system has a pivotal role.The main subject of this paper comes from the project of " Research and Application of wireless temperature measurement system " during the internship in a corporation (referred to as company S) in Wuhan.The main task of this project is to develop a wireless temperature monitor that can be use in a variety of environmental temperature detection.The paper details the performance characteristics of each of the key devices,and then describe the system from both hardware and software programming.Finally debug and analysis the performance of this system, measure its capabilities of temperature acquisition and wireless transmission, and propose to what still need to be improve about this Wireless Temperature Measurement System.The system mainly consists of three subsystems:the temperature acquisition subsystem, a wireless transmission system and remote monitoring unit. The wireless temperature measurement system consists of a upper machine and one or more of the lower machine.The lower machine temperature acquisition subsystem consists of a digital temperature sensor DS18B20and MSP430F1232microcontroller. When the temperature sensor collected the temperature signal, and immediately sent to the host microcontroller for temperature conversion processing. After a simple data processing,MSP430MCU sent the data through the serial port to the Wireless communication module for RF modulator. The RF transceiver chip CC2530is responsible for long-distance transmission signal in the wireless transmission subsystem, it consists of the RF transmitter and receiver side. The upper machine data reception side consists of the wireless communication receiver module and the single chip LM3S MCU. When the RF receiving terminal receive data from the lower side, it demodulate the data trough the same modulation mechanism. After that the data is passed trough the serial port UART to the host controller LM3S6432for processing,and then it is sent via Ethernet to a PC. It is also displayed through the man-machine interface LCD screen in real time.
