With the rapid development of our country's economic and automotive industry, our country's car ownership is growing rapidly, but how to manage these vehicles efficiently is a thought-provoking question, and the efficiency of vehicle management methods are not high enough, Meanwhile, the transport sector vigorously promotes the application and popularization of the ETC system, makes the popularization of vehicle tags (OBU) greatly improved, and provides a practical method for today's vehicle management.This paper mainly focused on the design of RFID reader in the vehicle management system. The paper described the components and the solution of vehicle management system. According to parameters based on national standards of OBU, the specific design of the RFID reader system structure and the specific design parameters are proposed.RF transceiver circuit as a key part of the RFID reader, the paper firstly analyzed the structure of RF transceiver circuit, analyzed and compared two kinds of the design of RF transceiver. According to the design parameter of RF reader, I choose ML9636as the chip of RF transceiver. Then design the schematic and PCB part of ML9636, and describe the points that need to pay attention to when design the ML9636circuit board. However, the sensitivity of ML9636can not fully achieve the design sensitivity, so the external LNA is added to improve the sensitivity of the RF receiver. In order to achieve the parameter of LNA, I choose MGA-665P8as the RF front-end chip, and design the basic circuit and matching circuit of MGA-665P8. Then combined with the simulation of ADS software, simulate the circuit and optimize the sensitivity of the RF receiver. Also, transmit power cannot achieve the design power, several power amplifiers are connected outside in order to achieve the design power parameter.According to the need of data link layer and the control and data processing of baseband part, STR710is choosed as the core control chip for the baseband circuit. And the external circuit modules are decribed and designed in this paper. In order to realize the function of ethernet port communication, W5200is choosed and specific circuit is designed in this paper. In the software of the design, the paper describes the ML9636and HDLC module configuration in detail. And program the ethenet port communication of W5200. Also, RFID reader software process and DSRC communication process are described.
