WCDMA is one of the most promising technology standards in the third generation mobile communication system, transmission rate can be up to384Kbps, which based on GSM core nets, is real of the3G. It adopts several advanced technology such as rake receiver, antenna diversity, power control, soft handoff etc. Contrast to conventional mobile system, the higher capacity, the better spectrum efficiency and more extensive ability. Can server the users better. The physical layer is the bottom of the system, and the digital base-band is one of the key technology. The structure of physical layer impacts directly on the performance of wireless link, decided to the complexity of the user terminals and exchange equipments. Therefore, researching and improving the digital base-band processing technology of WCDMA is an important meaning.This paper is arranged from top to bottom, from the wireless Internet protocol to the physical structure, then focus to digital base-band processor, and finally to the uplink symbol rate of DSP processing. After introducing the principle of the WCDMA channel coding and multiplexing, using the Matlab to establish the system's model. The symbol rate of DSP processing is key points, including:initial module, scheduling module, symbol processing modules, the command module, the paper tries to clear the relationship between system and each module, modules coordinate each other to complete the symbol rate of DSP processing. The symbol of DSP processing is difficulty, including CRC, cascade or segmentation, channel coding, first interleaving, rate matching, multiplex and mapping, giving specific code. Finally based on the algorithm, choose TMS320C5509A chip of TI company, and using C language programming, finished WCDMA uplink channel coding and multiplexing. This scheme is based on the slot scheduling, can improve the software executive efficiency and the real-time.This paper based on the principle of WCDMA, research each module function and the specific implementation, this paper tries to clear the relationship between system and each module and between the each others, introduced the simulation realization of WCDMA digital base-band system. The simulation system is tested and gives the result analysis, shows that the method is feasible. Through testing, meet the expected function, get a satisfactory result.
