The rapid development of network technology and the wide use of information system have caused the explosive growth of digital information. At the same time, the digital information is also promoted as the most valuable asset in enterprises. At the moment, the shared storage service mode offered by Data Center (IDC) becomes the first choice for data tolerant in enterprises while its security requirements become more prominent due to the differences in management domain. The major project of Zhejiang Province------"the development and industrialization of shared storage security gateway for data center" solved the security problem of data storage and transmission in network storage environment. However, with the gateway applications continuing to spread and the number of gateways increasing, how to achieve real-time monitoring of all gateways to ensure that the gateway is always in working order and functions well becomes another major problem for us. Since the relevant characteristics of the gateway itself, the existing centralized monitoring system cannot be applied directly, so developing a functional, safe, reliable, convenient and flexible centralized monitoring system is of great significance to promote the application of the security gateway. The centralized monitoring system for network storage encryption oriented discussed in this paper mainly researches on the design of software architecture and the related technologies of centralized monitoring, references to the architecture design of an open source software called Zabbix, designs the architecture of centralized monitoring system for network storage with the related features of network security storage gateway device, and completely describes this architecture through a innovative use of "4+1" view model. As an example, a flexible fault management subsystem is also designed in detail and implemented.Compared to other researches on centralized monitoring system, the research in this paper has the following characteristics:Multi-view architecture:the system architecture design of traditional centralized monitoring system is generally carried out to the logical architecture design phase, while not designing and analyzing the system from multiple view angles, which is slightly one-sided. This paper designs architecture from multiple views:logic, processes and development, which is more comprehensive and provides references for those who is related to the project.Flexible fault management mechanism:in traditional centralized monitoring system, fault rule definition, fault alarm and other related content are mainly fixed and realized in the program code. Once the fault rules or alarms change, we need to modify the source code, which is inflexible. This paper carries out user-defined rules and fault alarm configuration with a high degree of flexibility, which solves the problem of modifying source code due to the alteration of fault rule or fault alarm. LAMP based platform:traditional centralized monitoring systems commonly adopt C/S model structure, and are realized based on windows OS. In this paper, the system introduces B/S model structure, built with LAMP platform, running on Linux OS, which has characteristics of low cost, deployment flexibility, rapid development, security and stability, etc.
