Research And Application Of The Performance Of GSM Wireless Network

The present optimization of the GSM wireless network is based on the passive mode, that is to say,deal with it while the events of equipment failure have occurred or the mobile subscribers have complainted , which often can not be resolved in time, and results in more complaints from the subscribers , and brings to the optimization of the network tremendous pressure. In view of this kind of situation, this paper takes active mode network optimization methods,which analysizes network performance data , seeking link between network failure and data index on network processing before the breakdown of malfunction or the subscribers complaints.This paper focuses on GSM wireless networks and optimization techniques,and study the definition and calculation of the GSM wireless network key performance indicators (such as the switch rate, congestion rate, the dropped calls rate, switching success rate, network coverage, etc), at the same time,it explores the possibilities and the related association rule of mining algorithm, with the establishment of the association rule base. Discusses data mining data in the network performance optimization possibilities and related association rules mining, association rules base established. By processing the raw data, the passage uses Apriori algorithm to find association rules among each other, and extracts key indicators which affects the operation of the network to the KPI, making more targeted network optimization.When designing the GSM wireless network optimization system, the data in the database is mainly from various types of data of the wireless network element device , including performance data, configuration data, engineering data, the base station parameter tables, OMC statistical data, CQT data, CDR data. Data processing module mainly focuses on dealing with collecting data formatting, as well as interpretation, integration and association, uses the association rules between the performance rules, matches the pattern of association rules, and gets the connection of the network running situation and potential problems. Finally, the operation of the system is introduced, and takes the actual network topology in Yongzhou City as an example, the effect of the application of the software is tested and analyzed, reaches the desired results.
