With the campus network size and the number of users continues to expand, Increasing types of business, The quality of service of the network, the network information security requirements increasingly high, For its operation, maintenance and management of a higher demand, Therefore, It is very important significance for the master campus network operating and the research and development of network devices and protocols.This paper mainly around the park a study of network performance measurement methods, Trying to construct an effective network performance measurement basic model to obtain performance campus network, campus network master of business performance, understand its operating rules, thereby establishing its behavioral model, to further improve the network quality of service, better improve the performance of the network, operators to achieve efficient maintenance, and lay the theoretical foundation for the development of a new campus network performance measurement methods.In this paper, the main content is as follows:available bandwidth of campus network in time delay measurement method has carried on the related research. On the basis of theory, we carried out on the network behavior analysis includes the following several aspects:the link bandwidth measurement algorithm, end-to-end network bottleneck bandwidth measurement algorithm, the available bandwidth measurement algorithm and the factors affecting the measurement result. The Spruce measurement algorithm, PathLoad algorithm and PathChirp three kinds of algorithms in the following two kinds of different measurement experiment environment, the first is to establish the network environment, in the laboratory with different load flow measurement; The second is in actual network environment of the campus net according to the different time is measured. We finally through the chart analysis, error comparison, find a minimum error of the algorithm, and the next step of the algorithm was improved, the results of the improved WpathChirp algorithm results compared with the original measurement algorithm, it can be seen that the improved algorithm on the precision and robustness have very big improvement, and can be used in the campus net of any load conditions.
