The real-time database is frequently used in plant-level monitoring information system of Power Plant. It is a non-relational database which has characteristics of mass storage data and comprehensive information. Owing to those characteristics of real-time database, there are various aspects of problems in data acquisition and processing of the industrial management system based on the real-time database. In the background of above problems, it uses the real-time data as data collection source, and applies current mainstream technologies to the data acquisition and processing system for research, design, implementation, testing and deployment. The main research work involved in this thesis focuses on the following aspects.Detailed research work of PI real-time database technology has been done, including remote access mechanism of PI, and the calling mechanism of PI-API function, and debugging of common PI-API function.The real-time data of PI is generated by hardware sensors and software simulator, providing the test environment and data sources for the design and development of the system.Caching mechanism is introducted into the data processing of PI real-time database processing to ease the pressure of the PI database server-side.According to the revolving door compression algorithm, it uses the linear interpolation algorithm to converte the real-time data into the two-dimensional relational data. The data acquisition and processing algorithms of extreme value is designed to meet customer's demand.It uses current mainstream technologies of software development areas, such as C#.net DllImport application mechanism, and multi-threading technology, and real-time curves drawing technology, etc. In those technologies, Dlllmport application mechanism is the key technology for calling PI-API functions in C#.net development of the system.
