Research And Development Of The Secondary School Examination System Based On Individualized Teaching

Modern education attaches more importance on individualized education, emphasizing on teaching acc. to the student's aptitude. However, real individualized education can seldom be achieved during the basic education process, with the traditional teaching methods, for the reason of large class-scale and rare teaching resources.To make every student to receive the opportunity of individualized teaching, raise the teacher's efficiency and effectiveness to students of individualized teaching; strengthen the supervisory role of parents towards students and improve the target of home-school links. This article has developed an Individualized Teaching-Based Middle School Examination System.Based on the analysis of current domestic and overseas network examination systems as well as Web-based online examination system, we propose an implementation solution of using the B/S Structure. The system adopts modular design, takes ASP webpage programming as software development technology and VBScript as main programming language, completes the interaction with Access database via Microsoft ADO components, and then achieves test library management, student management, parent Management, papers management ,online examination, feedback communication, home-school links and other functions.It emphasizes on designing personalized item bank management module, home-school communication module, individualized teaching based manual examination papermaking module and discussion module. Through the design and implementation of these modules, teachers can check students'grasp situation on each exam knowledge point more intuitively, and then provide reference for working out teaching points; in addition, teachers can prepare individualized exam papers or homework for any student in the way of manual examination papermaking and check students'answers in any examination. The system allows students to independently complete their own personalized test papers and homework and initiate one-to-one communication about the finished examination questions with teachers so as to improve and consolidate the review efficiency. In the system, parents can take separate communication with teachers through home-school communication module and check their children's previous examinations and homework timely. It provides basis for parents'supervision.At present stage, the system has basically achieved all requirements raised in demand analysis. After testing and using, it shows that the system is of reasonable design, perfect functions and convenient operation, reducing workload of teachers, enhancing test efficiency and homework pertinence, strengthening the connection between parents and schools, improving teaching quality effectively and creating conditions for the promotion of individualized teaching.
