Wireless Sensor Networks technology is becoming increasingly mature. Large-scale and distributed information gathering has become more convenient and feasible. In this technical background, this thesis preovides a design and development on monitor system for the data acquisition of greenhouse environment by the application of wireless sensor network technology.This paper uses Chipcon's CC2430 chip as the core component. First, the core module of wireless sensor networks is designed. The module has control and communication capabilities. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) made according to the schematic, components of module welded, a reliable and stable module is completed. Then, the design of the sensor node board and sink node board of the system are based on this module. Core module is part of the sensor node board and sink node board. Sensor node takes applications of temperature and humidity sensor, light intensity sensor and soil moisture sensor. At last, the system consists of sensor nodes, sink node, and the host computer with data collection, display and other components. Host computer take a communication with sink node through a serial connection for each other.The system software is designed based on the hardware system. First, study wireless sensor network operating system TinyOS and analyze the operating system mechanism and form of source code, and then describes the basic principles and methods of transplantation. Then, the software development for sensor node and sink node is based on development platform with TinyOS. Sensor node design mainly focuses on the sensor driver, and serial communication programming on sink node. Finally, verify the functions by loading and running the program in the core module.The system interface and application are designed by QT. Application can achieve real-time data receiving and processing. PC, serving as the display and operation terminal can be connected to the external network management node. PC obtains data by the sink node, and performs real-time display through the QT interface.Experiments show that the system is stable, the operation is simple. The system hardware structure is simple, sensor power efficient.
