Study On The Application Of EPON In Cmcc Integrated Service And Its Security

China Mobile, who has the most subscribers and the greatest network, is one of the biggest mobile communication service providers in the globe. With the business reorganization and the continuous developed application of Internet, there is a severe competition in the communicational market. As a traditional mobile service provider, China Mobile has urgently transformed itself into a comprehensive information service provider. However, the congenital lack of the Customer Premise Network (CPN) resources becomes the bottleneck of its network. Therefore, it is necessary for China Mobile to deploy the integrative service.Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) is a fashion of terminal access. It not only saves the resources by reducing the investment, but also has convenient maintenance and technical advance for fitting the need of the bandwidth and bearing the multi-service. China Mobile in JiangSu has devoted into the construction of CPN since 2008, and has got this network now.. The key point is how to reasonably regulate EPON and effectively bear all the service in this network. From the perspective of the technical application, this thesis will present a reasonable scheme of EPON network and the effective use of the EPON network for carrying out the services. At the same time, the thesis also discuss the commercial test and the net adjustment for new services, such as VOIP,IPTV,TDM etc. As the competition of whole business is intensive, the effective usage of EPON network can quickly access the group and home market. This study has a reference value for the daily maintenance and engineering.We at first overview the general situation of the access network, starting with the competition of the national communication business. Then, we analyze the technical problems of the traditional access network. With the introduction of the basic theory of EPON and its prospects, we present a reasonable solution for all the services by the effective usage of EPON, including FTTH and FTTB+LAN for home users, FTTO applications for group and big customers, EPON application mode for base station access, EPON multi-services for business hall, and the construction of multi-services bearing platform for EPON . At last, we summarize the problems during the operation and the protection of EPON, and show the outlook and the development of EPON in communication serviceBased on the EPON solution for all the services , we also analyze the security of PON network, including the reinforcement measures for PON network.
