Ontology is an important tool for knowledge reusing, sharing and modeling, and researchers has attracted extensive attention by the usage of ontology for next-generation Semantic Web for information search. Ontology is a shared conceptual model of a clear formal specification, in essence, to build shared knowledge base in related fields, to provide a common understanding and accepted terminology of domain knowledge, terms and terminology and gives a clear definition of the association between to achieve understanding between the computer and the computer, human-computer communication. Domain ontology knowledge base size and quality for semantic search, artificial intelligence research and development plays a decisive role.This paper introduces the conception, classification, function and description language of ontology, describes the concepts of search engine and how it works, given to improve the traditional search engines in three directions:Chinese word segmentation, information extraction, semantic reasoning. Analyzing the construction principles, methods, tools and storage of ontology, this paper proposes a building model based with the core of vulnerability for information security domain ontology, elaborated building steps on the information security domain ontology. Finally, focus on Chinese word segmentation. information extraction and semantic reasoning technology based on information security domain ontology, on this basis, design and implement semantic search engine demonstration system based on information security domain ontology.
