This topic is a concrete realization of modern long-distance medical monitoring system.Modern long-distance medical monitoring system usually combines traditional medicalmonitoring and modern electronic communication technology. The pulse signal long-distanceautomatic monitoring system is a wireless telemedicine monitoring terminal. Wirelesstelemedicine monitoring terminal which based on embedded technology effectively combinethe medical sensor technology and modern communication technology such as GPS or GSMtechnology. It applied to health monitoring terminal, and it has great social value.Pulse signal long-distance automatic monitoring system is a portable embeddedlong-distance medical system which is developed comprehensive using the mobilecommunication, GPS and electronic information processing technology, it can detect Pulse ,automatic make alarm and get position. The system will get the health condition of the userthrough obtaining pulse signal by pulse sensor,filtering and analyzing in digital pulse graphalgorithm by the embedded microprocessor. When the disease burst, it will alarm and sendalarm information by GSM module, and it will get the accurate position by GPS module, sorealize its timely assistance function. The system has merge the traditional Chinese medicinepulse diagnosis and electronic information processing technology, it is medical equipmentused for Preliminary examination. It can be applied to the elderly or the sudden illness person,and it has broad application prospects.This paper first introduces the whole system, including the system's function, hardwareselection, development platform, operating system, software development tools and ideas ofsoftware design, then focus on the pulse signal processing algorithm, including signalreception and information extraction and processing, then summarizes the process andmethods of system software and hardware implementation, finally we give a summarize andput forward some improvement advice.
