With the port functions and business continued to expand, increasing demands of modern management port, port enterprises are facing many practical problems:With the port business process optimization and recycling all kinds of information and data sharing needs to gradually increase; port management business unified information data query, extraction, management needs; lack of integration of information and data port, it is difficult for the local and overseas users with a comprehensive, detailed, fast, accurate information. How to use modern IT technology to solve the above problems faced by the port companies, port development and construction of digital information into the development of Chinese ports facing major problems. With high-tech and rapid development of information technology, computer network technology, data warehouse technology, graphics technology, information exchange technology, port management technology is widely used, the use of these technologies, data, images, multimedia information integration in one, unified management, rational use of terminal resources; for port business decision-making, management level, information management, interaction and information sharing, to enhance the port enterprise information management tools and management level.The system aims to establish a database related to Weifang port management and the work platform, the port business of dangerous goods, general cargo transport permits, application process, port enterprises, goods entering and leaving port, the port to indicate the distribution of electronic content management accounting and other ports, data, regulations and standards, to integrate information management as a basis for comparison to provide a variety of data, analysis and calculations, thus efficient and convenient services at the port management.In this paper, the development of information management systems theory, Weifang port with real business needs in advanced Microsoft.NET platform for development.
