The current container transportation in the nation and even the global shipping market has held a larger share. In the competition of today's ports in China, Tianjin port always runs in the front of the nation. Located in BinHai new area, Tianjin port is the largest container terminal. Tianjin Port Pacific International Container Terminal Co., LTD plays an impartment role in the whole TianJin Port Container Transportation industry.Tianjin Pacific International container terminal Co., LTD (TPCT for short) is Joint Stock limited company of Tianjin Port and Singapore PSA International Port Group and it is a professional international container terminal company, whose total investment was 6.6 billion RMB. TPCT is located in east port free trade area of the largest scale and highest open level of TianJin Port and is the first modern international container terminal.The company currently deploy six berths which are all for 10 DWT container special berth. Terminal water depth 16.0 meters, coast length of 2300 meters, can meet the 6th generation container ship docked requirements at the same time. The company covers an area of 2.41 million square meters in total, stacking area of 1.41 million square meters; the design throughput capacity will reach 4 million TEUs. There were a freezer, special container yard, this field has 1200 special refrigerated containers socket. It can meet the needs of box demolition and uploading for management business and business development.In 2009 the company formally founded the logistics service center, and its main business is related to container service management business. This paper cooperates with the company in the container terminal intelligent management system with the greatest degree, on the basis of container yard management through relevant business demand and business processes and combined with the customer relationship management thinking, design and accomplish a container yard management system. First of all. this paper discussed the background of the container yard management system project and the problem in development design then analyzed the functional requirements and the non-functional requirements and gave detailed instructions through the flow chart and use case diagram.Based on the analysis of the demand, I design the container yard management system architecture. And further carry out the detailed design of yard management system. On the basis of detailed design. I show the system's overall rendering and the realization of each part. Finally, this paper briefly introduced the container yard management system for practical application and gives suggestions for the further improvement of the system.
