Research Of DY Container Yard Gate System Optimization Based On The Queuing Management

Container yard(hereinafter referred to as yard)is the important node of container logistics chain.Yard gate system(hereinafter referred to as gate)is its important component,it is only the place of gating in and gating out of the containers,it is the dividing point for dividingthe containers responsibility of transfer of the two sides.The service ability and service quality made direct influence to the yard operation status and the customer satisfaction.In these years,our country's container logistics industry made a rapid development,our country's container throughput has occupied the world first for many years.However,the current gate management is still mostly stay on depends on the level of priori knowledge,lacking of a scientific and effective management methods.On this background,the yard gate traffic congestion problem became more and more serious every day,it severely reduced the service quality of the yard,resulting in a decline in customer satisfaction,at the same time seriously affected the traffic conditions surrounding the gate.Therefore,how to improve the ability of the yard gate through,reduce the waiting time of the vehicle and the driver,improve the customer satisfaction is aproblem demanding prompt solution.This article based on the DY container yard gate system as its specific study object.Through investigation,statistics and analysis the current situation of the DY gate system,studied and discussed from,the customer actual waiting time and customer feel waiting time,the two dimensions,to optimize gate setting and process,enhance enterprise competitiveness,improve customer satisfaction.This article first showed the problem which needing to be solved,and the selected topic background and significance,the research results of predecessors in the related field,the main content of the thesis and structure of this article.Secondly to introduce related theories,such as queuing theory related theory,the composition of the queuing system,related calculation formula of M/G/S queuing model,customer tolerance zone related theory(extended to the concept of customers waiting for the tolerance zone),queuing system optimization model(including cost model and desire model),the related theory of waiting for psychology.Then,introduce the current situation of the DY container yard gate system,Including the gate system composition and layout,service content and process of the gate system,service rules of the gate system,the problems existing in the current gate system.Next,in the fourth chapter,set up the queuing model of the DY container yard gate systems,make field investigation and statistical research,make quantitative analysis of the related parameters of the gate queuing system,make quantitative calculation of the optimization parameters of the gate system,this chapter is the focus and difficult of this article.Finally,put forward the detailed optimization measures of DY container yard gate system.
