With mobile communication developing rapidly, the range of any kind of wireless communications will produce the result that the signal is faint or vacant in some areas. But in remote areas or vacant areas that the number of users is few, because of high in cost and complex in infrastructure, it is difficult to build analog or digital base stations. The repeater, with its characteristics such as low cost, short construction period and better network quality, was widely used in the wireless networks optimization. In order to ensure that repeater works in high reliability and stability condition, it's necessary to have the real-time monitoring system. The quantity of repeaters is very large with the wide distribution. And the limited monitoring measures can not be unified because various manufacturers use their own monitoring system so that the network overall situation can not be effectively monitored and controlled.Currently, the repeater maintenance system mostly used the C++/JAVA development platform. Most of them need to self-built templates and DCF configuration file. This makes it complicated to operate and interface complexity. By the application of C#development platform and the MVC framework, this paper proposed a design of the repeater maintenance system. The solution settles the following issues:(1) support multi-protocol;(2) It get rid of DCF file configuration and management, Which implements the function of automatic on-line and automatically generate a template;(3) support a variety of communication methods;(4) support parameter configuration and remote upgrades;(5) interface is simple and beautiful.This thesis first bases the analysis of its background and the international status of research in this area, proposing the necessity for this repeater maintenance system. Then it introduces the repeater and the functions of the repeater maintenance system, including configuration management, alarm management, remote upgrade capabilities, and monitoring parameter functions. Then it discusses the hardware flow and protocol frame structure of this system. This thesis presents a design plan of this system base on the above, which includes the business logic layer, the data processing layer and the interface display layer. This section also analysis and design the levels of main function modules. Next it gives a test and the results show that the various functions and indicators fully consistent with protocol requirements, so it can put into use. Finally, this paper is summarized and prospected.
