The Design And Implementation Of A Distributed Web Application Framework

With the development of network technology, the development of web application, especially the enterprise web application, has become an important domain in software developments. The enterprise web application always requires a robust architecture, more accumulation of the technology and the experience, more rigorous management of the project, but the traditional development methods do not commendably meet these requirements. Therefore, some developers bring forward a new development method which is based on framework. Now, more and more attention to the framework has been paid by the academia and industrial circle. This paper brings forward a new web application framework aiming at the enterprise application scope, which could effectually resolve the main problems in the development of the enterprise web application.According to the deep investigation and analysis of the requirements which is from a real enterprise web application system, a distributed web application framework based on J2EE platform is brought out. This framework adopts the idea of Model View Controller(MVC) pattern and Asynchronized Javascript And XML(AJAX) style. This Framework has many advantages, such as clear software architecture, uniform accessing mode of application model, convenience rendering mode of user interface, excellent expansibility and maintenance, efficient use of the resources and sustain separation of roles of developers, etc. An enterprise system– Printing Industry ERP is then successfully implemented with such framework.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and correlated technologies, gives the design goal and plan of the framework. And in detail, this paper introduces the main aspects that build up the framework, shows the use of the framework in practice. Lastly, this paper concludes the valuable advantages of the framework in theory and in practice, and also concludes the experience in developing the framework, point out the important features that should be implemented in future.
