| In order to keep up with the pace of development of archives information needsand improve the level of archive reference service, this thesis does a theoretical andpractical research on archive service at the background of web2.0.In the new era, thesocial attributes of the archives is highlighted, the dissemination and utilization ofarchives information have being taken seriously, archive reference service and web2.0are closely linked. The Web2.0focuses on each person's needs and values. And thetheory and technical products offer the theoretical and technical support for theimprovement of archive service.Web2.0applied to the archive reference service hasbeen practiced.This thesis contrasts the overseas practices of the archive service withweb2.0and then investigates and analyzes Chinese current practices of the archiveservice with web2.0, summarizes and analyzes the problems in the practical process,carries out countermeasures from the aspects of the concept, laws andregulations,content services, security building, and qualified personnel with theiradvanced experience.
