Study On The Realization Of Knowledge Reasoning For The1911Revolution

With development of Internet, various kinds of information grow exponentially, historians search for useful historical information through Internet rather than limit to a closed database. However, traditional engines based on key-words only analyse very little information on surface, because data on the net is usually existence in structured, half-structured or unstructured form, so that the returned results are often single and repeat, which may prevent from gaining valuable history materials. Aiming at providing a new way of search engineer to search for knowledge, this paper do research on domain ontology construction method and the reasoning function in detail, combined with appling a philosophical ontology concept to the field of information technology.Domain ontology is a efficient way to share and reuse knowledge. With reasoning mechanism, it can not only do consistency analysis of ontology knowledge, but also disclose implicit knowledge via relevant direction of rules, which provides a good solution for expanding semantic function of the search engine.With the revolution as the research object, this paper proposes a reasoning algorithm based on rules by using ontology language OWL formalize cultural history knowledge as well as checking consistency of ontology on the basis of the description logic. The research achievement about construction of the1911revolution ontology and reasoning in this paper can be concluded as follow:(1) Referring to domain ontology construction methods proposed by experts at home and abroad, this paper propose a feasible and effective domain ontology construction method——"Circulation" with object-oriented software engineering idea.(2) To design and realize a simple ontology editor tool——CCNU-OntoEdit, according to the shortages when construct ontology by Protege.(3) Introduce the construction process of the1911revolution ontology in detail, as well as summarizes the development experience which may provides reference forsimilar domain ontology construction in future.(4) Considering reasoning based on the description logic, combined with the1911revolution ontology, this paper ensure completeness of ontology library by analysing the consistency of ontology knowledge through satiability checking of TBox. (5) Not only proposing a ontology reasoning algorithm based on rules, but also reasoning on the1911revolution knowledge and disclosing implicit knowledge which provide intelligent information retrieval service for history researchers.
