Workflow Modeling Tools Research Based On MDD In Eclipse

With the continuous development of enterprise informatization, organization of production process and procedure optimization have become more and more specific.Workflow technology, a hot topic of enterprise management information system development, has seen a wide range of applications in the enterprise process management field. Workflow modeling as the starting point of the workflow management system is an important part of the workflow research. Workflow modeling tool is a typical application of the traditional graphics editing systems. Due to the naturally strong dependency relationship between the model and view, graphics editing systems have shortcomings such as low efficiency of development, poor reusability, and difficult to achieve some functions.Design pattern is proven solution to specific problems which are repetitive in certain circumstances in the software development process.In order to solve the inherent problems of the traditional graphic editing system, we introduce the idea of design pattern into system design and development process, which could improve the reusability of the system to a certain extent and shorten the development cycle, thus improving the efficiency of system development.On the basis of existing literature, we propose a software realization method synthesizing a variety of design patterns, which is useful for Rapid development of image editing tool. The validity and efficiency of this method is proven by actual instance.The main work of this paper is as follows:1Based on workflow technology and model-driven development theory, we propose a software realization method synthesizing a variety of design patterns and design a workflow modeling tool with better user experience. This tool is implemented in the form of Eclipse plug-in, which has the function of graphical creating and editing of workflow.2Based on deep study of the prototype design of design pattern and application scenarios, we analysis the advantage of applying this method into workflow modeling tool. It can overcome the drawbacks of traditional graphics editing systems, improving the system duplication expansibility and maintainability. Software quality and development efficiency have been greatly improved.3Finally, through the realization of workflow modeling tools, we show system installation method and working steps at a specific example. With the support of the simulation engine, we realize a model driven automation development process based on workflow, demonstrating that the method and modeling tools are practical and accessibility.
