Research And Implementation Of Object Oriented Workflow Modeling

With the rapid extension of Internet and Intranet, some kinds of software systems have been greatly evolved, especially the Workflow Management System (WfMS). The main objective of WfMS is the automation of procedures where document, information or tasks are passed between participants according to predefined set of rules to achieve an overall business goal. Researching and applying the method of workflow to model and analyze enterprise business process can make the process more logical. This method realizes the automation of the enterprise processes, improving work and production efficiency of enterprise. It also is helpful to the continuous change of market competition environment, and the standardization and informatization of enterprise management in our country. The author summarizes research issues on workflow technology, especially evaluating WfMC workflow reference model, the workflow modeling methods in common and process definition language. The author designs a workflow modeling using activity-based diagram. This model is implemented based on a visual workflow model, where Java is used as a programming language. This model can be used to describe the static attributes of the enterprise workflow processes. This research work has laid the foundation for further study in dynamic implementation model, also prepared for the description of workflow dynamic attributes. Therefore, with the view of workflow modeling, this work contributes to the complicated transaction in the enterprise.
