Research And Implementation Of Workflow System Integration Based On SOA

Informatization construction in China power enterprises plays an important role. Workflow technology has been widely used in power plant information management systems. There are more and more applications which are based on workflow technology. With the increasing scale of enterprise, business development, and changes of market, these existing information systems cannot meet business requirements when the enterprise is developing and changing. These systems were introduced earlier with limited functions and developed based on different platforms, so business data cannot be shared with others between independent systems. Thus they cannot provide effective information services for enterprise development. Seeking a flexible, efficient solution of system integration is the top priority of informatization construction.Due to the current requirements of system integration in power plant enterprise during business recombination and reform, bonding the designing thought of service oriented architecture with workflow technology, a solution of information system integration is presented in this thesis and can meet business needs of power plant. A workflow system model based-SOA is mentioned firstly. It combines workflow technology with service-oriented designing ideas while separating the logic control part from the business process design, and achieves a loosely coupled architecture. On the basis of service-oriented workflow system model, this thesis designs a workflow system integration solution based on SOA which can help enterprise to solve current problems including data sharing, business process integration etc. The paper simulately develops defect form management system and work order management system, and achieves the integration of these systems. This application program has been adopted in a power plant enterprise systems integration solution.SOA-based workflow system integration solution proposed here, not only to meet integration needs of the power plant business, but also to integrate with future introduction of new software systems. This also provides a new approach for re-development and upgrading of existing systems, taking into account short-term benefits and long-term interests of enterprise. SOA-based workflow system integration solution can bring great economic benefits for enterprise.
