Research On Workflow-Oriented Enterprise Application Integration

With the rapid development of the globalization and informationization, enterprises have to face enormous pressure and challenges in implementation of information technology. The individual information systems of the past have been unable to meet the changing market requirements for the operation of enterprises, thus an integration of the current application systems is in urgent. However, current EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) methods are in lack of flexibility, most of which can only solve the problems based on data, and which can't do anything with the flexible business processes.To solve such problems, this paper make a study of workflow-oriented EAI, which makes full use of SOA framework based on Web Services technology for workflow and business process management. The functions of business systems are packaged as Web Services, which can be combined to achieve a more complex business process in agreement with business requirements, creating a more powerful business function, and finally realizing the integration of the data in business application systems and business processes.In this paper, first of all, we make an analysis of the type, level and model of enterprise application integration, focusing on the framework of EAI based on SOA, and then the current mainstream technology of Web Services will be introduced. Meanwhile, the Workflow Reference Model structure and the main interface features are analyzed, which was proposed by WfMC (Workflow Management Coalition). A study of the implementation of the BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) and modeling methods based on Petri net is also presented in this writing. According to these techniques and theories, the author puts forward a framework of workflow-oriented enterprise application integration including the model of communication, workflow task model and business process model, which can accustom to flexible business processes and contribute to solving the problem of enterprise business process integration.Finally, with the current situation of informationization in the Bureau of Finance, a detailed analysis of the integration demands of core business systems was made. After analyzing and modeling the major business process with workflow-oriented EAI framework designed above, the integration system of financial information have been successfully implemented.
