Subway monitoring system, which provides the information sharing platform for the subway traffic, is not only a information system with huge function, but a Multi-function, multi-disciplinary, distributed and integrated subsystem. It is a integrated automotive monitoring system for the purpose of Centralized monitoring and scientific management,constituted by equipments of environmental control, low voltage, lighting,water supply and drainage, shielding door etc, all of which are located in the subway station and relative constructions.Subway automatic monitoring system is mainly based on the following application characteristics,geographical dispersion, centralized monitoring;large-scale handling,event-driven;conducting a lot of information integrating with the third subsystems or equipments,achieving coordination and information sharing.on the same platform, Therefore,in the practice of software developing and overall framework, we need to focus on resolving several key technical issues: interface communication framework, software architecture, real-time database and system data streams. Under the program and requirements of zhengzhou one-line subway, we proposed the hierarchical and distributed comprehensible monitoring system architecture, which is based on the middleware technology. it adopted the large SCADA system of Siemens For the first time, its characters of distributed node architecture, flexible expansion, modular deployment,industry database inheritance mechanism and the custom and development of the project,greatly improved the real-time performance and reliability of the system. This paper focused on the theme of integrated monitoring system of the subway, achieving the monitoring of the subway traffic by the way of the choosing and implementing of the software and hardware. Firstly it analyzed the basic function of the subway monitoring system, describing all the monitoring subsystems of the subway system, besides that,it proposed the controlling scale of the system on the basic of the above-mentioned need and characters and analyzed it.Secondly, it described the integration mode of Metro comprehensive monitoring system, determined the software and hardware of the application system and the network system. Then it also described the software architecture of the Metro comprehensive monitoring system ,depicted the distribution and access patterns of the software system and database in detail. and introduced the configuration software PVSS of the subway monitoring system in detail.Finally, according to subway construction in Zhengzhou, it analyzed in detail the structure of the environment and equipment monitoring system (BAS system) and Metro Screen Doors system (PSD system) , hardware composition and how to achieve monitoring function by PVSS system.
