With the rapid development of the Internet, SCAD A systems with data acquisition and supervisory control functions have become more mature. Gradually, SCADA systems have been developed into modern systems with a variety of technologies like neuronal DNA, Internet and object-oriented technology. Currently, with the increasing demand for water supply in many areas, the number of water sites is rising. Thus, monitoring and management of water supply equipment becomes more important. In recent years, SCADA systems based on web are emerging and bringing a lot of new problems.By analyzing current research papers and problem of SCADA and comparing the pros and cons of C/S and B/S structure, this paper designed and implemented a non-negative pressure pump monitoring system based on B/S structure with the current popular Internet technologies and tools.According to the structure and design goal of the system, divisions of software and function were completed. Some key technologies of the system were analysed. The database of system were designed, a communication protocols for data transfer were developed, and functions of data collection server, web server, system monitor, administration system and video client were implemented.Finally, system performance was tested, in the context of the non-negative pressure pump monitoring system in an intelligent equipment production company of Jiangsu. The results showed that the system is real-time, stable, reliable and high concurrency to meet the actual demand.
