Frequency souce is the heart of modern microwave and high frequency electronicsystems. The performance of frequency souce directly decides the important indicatorsof electronic systems. At the present time, the requirement of frequency souce for electr-onic systems is more and more higher. Frequency souces of which charaters includehigh frequency, high resolving capability, low phase noise, high spectrum immaculacy,fast jump have been the leading trend of development. My paper researchs thefrequency souce which is able to realize low phase noise, low spurs, small jumping step.Firstly, my paper introduces the development of frequency souce. Introduce theperformances and characters of all kinds of frequency souces at present and comparethem. Then introduce the recent situation and expectation of the modern synthesistechnology of frequency souce, and put forword main content and goal of my paper.Intrduce the basic structure and characters of phase locked loop which belong tofrequency souce. Then introduce the principle and characters of parts of frequencysouces, and analyze main performances of frequency souce. According to theperformance of frequency souce in paper, analyze schemes of frequency souce andcompare them with each other, and choose the final scheme. Later, the work is thesimulation and design of frequency souce. According to design parameters of loop filter,figure out rational loop filter. Then emulate the circuit of loop filter, couplers and filterswith simulating softwares. Later do the detailed design of frequency souce: structuredesign and PCB design.Finally, my paper introduce experience of circuit debug, and analyze test datas offrequency souce. Test datas indicate that Ku band frequency hopping souce has achieve-d the goal of my paper.
