With the coming of the 3G-information revolution, there has been an increasingly fierce competition in the field of mobile telecommunication in china. Mobile telecommunication has not only promoted the all-round development of the telecom but also had a profound influence on the social economy and people's lives. What the dealers of mobile telecommunication concerns most is how to run the business, how to improve the service and how to reduce its cost as well as how to obtain more quotients in the market. The characteristic of mobile telecommunication market makes it inevitable to have a great deal of data. It's the urgent task of the current mobile communication service to decide how to obtain the useful information from the data and how to further develop the service.Data Mining, an advanced technology to get the useful information from a great deal of data, can be adopted to solve the existent problems in the field of the mobile telecommunication.The thesis analyzed the competition situation of mobile telecommunication in china and elaborated the necessity of the adoption of the data mining theory to the mobile communication, researching mainly how to use data mining technology to develop the new service. After the discussion of the related theory of data mining, the paper dwelled on the customer data mining and proposed Customer Retention Model, Customer Value Model, Marketing Tactic Model, etc. Based on which various kinds of the user group appear in turn. Besides, the paper put forward some constructive new operation scheme and some best marketing tactic data files.The practical application proves that the scheme, as an auxiliary method to develop new service, is logically feasible and functionally complete, possessing a considerable reference value to help the mobile telecommunication dealer to develop the new service.Surely, there is no doubt that this alternative scheme is so open that we need the practical experience of the analysis staff when applying the new service project. At the same time, we need more careful work in the designing of the man-machine system and the applying of data dimension of customers in different areas.It is sincerely hoped that this study can give an impetus to the application of the data mining in the field of Chinese mobile communication and give assistance to mobile communication dealers.
