With the growing number of sanitation vehicles, the traditional vehicle management methods can not meet the feature of large-scale, large -area and multi-job type of vehicle systems under new situation. Vehicle system scheduling, dynamic monitoring, remote managemeng has become a trend.Based on this background, according to the needs of the XX sanitation company, I developed a remote monitoring terminal used in Sanitation vehicle remote monitoring system. The Sanitation vehicle Remote monitoring system composed of the vehicle controller, remote monitoring terminal, server and client. I complete the design and debugging basised on the application requirements analysis.The remote monitoring terminal includes GPS/GPRS unit and display control unit. The GPS/GPRS unit with LPC2366 as the core has been expanded with wireless communication module, GPS module, as well as large-capacity memory module. The display control unit which also used LPC2366 as the core has been expanded with interactive interface, identification card interface bus communication modules, industrial cameras, as well as large-capacity memory. The communication between the two units relies on the RS-232 bus.The paper analyzes the communication protocol between the GPS/GPRS unit with the server and finished the application requirements of the agreement.After test, the results demonstrated that the remote monitoring terminal has high locating accuracy, fast image data transfer rate and friendly and interactive interface, and it meet the company's application needs. |
