Telemedicine, as a technology of the combination of communication engineering, computer and medicine, has nearly half a century's history. In recent years, telemedicine gets its new chance with the rapid development of information and communication technology. Nowadays, it makes the application prospects of telemedicine getting increasingly concern that increased aging of the population structure of society and people's attention for health problems. The combination of body area network, broadband mobile communications and mobile Internet makes medical applications for a large population possible. The development of digital medical technology, especially telemedicine, increasingly turns out to be an important method to significantly reduce the costs of health and medical treatment, change the uneven allocation of medical resources, and improve the health care as a whole.There are a lot of researches about body area network technology, mobile Internet technology, system of health assessment, telemedicine and home-care model at home and abroad, which put forward a number of innovative theories and models. However, there are still many problems and difficulties. In digitalized medical applications that combines information technology and medical care, it becomes a vital strategy and development trend of medical reform in many countries to integrate body area network, cloud computing, mobile Internet and other advanced information technologies in order to address the existing problems in applications one by one, and to innovatively establish collection and transmission of personal health information, the automation of health information processing and remote operation of health management. In this way, we can provide telemedicine service "timely""appropriately" with "no boundaries", and improve the level of health and medical care and the quality of people's life. This paper provides a general review and outlook of the development in this area and made an analysis of typical solutions and application cases in this area.Against the existing limitations and shortcomings of telemedicine systems, this paper proposes a system, setting of prevention, monitoring, first aid, and guidance for rehabilitation in one, whose access terminal is smart phone or tablet PC, which has strong mobility, more stable network connection and makes the interaction between doctors and patients easier. The system can provide the real-time remote monitoring service of multiple medical indicators, as well as the management of the EHRs of users. This system solves several problems in the application of telemedicine:(1) Build a safe, reliable and scalable body area network;(2)Provide remote health management and emergency services to users with the mobile Internet technology;(3) Manage personal health information and build service network. The system appeared to fill the gaps in relevant fields, provides a simple, inexpensive solution for home care and community health care and provides strong support to emergency medical treatment.The main tasks and research contents are list as follows:1. Analyzed the access program between the medical devices and this remote health management and rescue system;2. Analyzed the access program between this system and remote network server;3. Designed and implemented user interface module of this system;4. Designed and implemented the medical care and rescue module of this system.
