Body Area Network as the key technology of future remote medical treatment. The performance of the its core unit System on Chip involves the BAN actual effect. So the research of SoC has practical significance and good market prospect. This paper firstly discusses the BAN present situation and the key technology of the SoC development. Secondly, points out the requirements of the applications and the possible solutions. For avoiding the heavy medical equipment and its complex connections, considers adopting Intellectual Property core reconstruction technique to design a high performance and suitable for portable applications microcontroller. Therefore, under the traditional SoC structure, we introduce the Crossbar exchange mechanism into the DMA, and also bring in the audio decoder, AD/DA interface and so on to achieve the system hardware and software collorative design. Lastly, realizes the hardware and software collorative verification in the FPGA demoboard. The main innovation points embodied in paper are as fellows:(1) By using the Crossbar structure, the design DMAC realizes multichannel task parallel execution and flexible configration. For achieving the channel rapid configuration, the design also brings in the descriptor list and pre-read mechanism.(2) For realizing a portable and highly integrated system, the paper integrates MCU, RTClock, Audio Decoder, AD/DAinterface modules into one SoC chip system.(3) Through using the test function module, test nodes in the top-level module and softwares of Chipscore, logic analyzer Saleae16and serial assistant, the paper realizes the system internal and external signal traceability, shorten the dubug cycle. In addition, this paper designs a set of remote monitor center combined wireless monitoring demonstration system. Though the tests of data transceiver, communication distance and communication ber test, the design system platform fully meets the demands of hospital patients’ real-time monitoring.
