With the development of automotive electronic technology, hardware has become cheaper and more powerful, the main challenge is turning to explore the complex software development model. To improve the reusability and portability of automotive electronic software, numerous automobile manufacturers, suppliers and tool vendors launched a new standard architecture-AUTOSAR(AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture), which stimulated the development of an AUTOSAR solution boom. The AUTOSAR methodology defines a work-product flow for the basic AUTOSAR approach, including Software Architecture, System Configuration, ECU Configuration. The main task of Software Architecture is to achieve software components, interfaces, data types, internal behaviors and generating the implementation code of components. With reference to the current international leading AUTOSAR tools and investigation into the MDA framework, this paper design and implement SmartSAR Software Architect based on Artop platform(AUTOSAR Tool Platform), and study some key techniques related with graphical modeling. This paper's work will be presented as follows:1) Implementation and optimization of key features including design and validation for software architecture model, with AUTOSAR compliant validation constraints and improved methods in synchronization, composition, positioning and configuration of model.2) Implementation of seamless integration feature between Software Architect and MATLAB/Simulink for internal behavior design, providing a dedicated importer for legacy Simulink models.3) Applying an integrational case for SmartSAR Studio platform, Body Control Manager system, to verify the functions of Software Architect.
