Study On Highway Dedicated Communication System And Its Applications

Highway communication system is one of the most important highway modernization and information management supporting systems which can accurately and timely transport various highway network monitoring system and tolling information system such as voice, data and images. It is the fundamental infrastructure to maintain communication uninterrupted among different highway management departments and bridge between internal and external highway agencies. At the same time, highway communication system is an essential part of transportation communication networks which providing basic information platform for all kinds of traffic network service and video conference system. This thesis presents a comprehensive study on highway communication system and its application in Jiangsu.Firstly, this thesis gives a brief introduction of the principles and service requirements of highway communication systems. Then the architecture and major technologies of highway communication system is analyzed. The planning and designing method for highway communication system is proposed followed by the actual planning and designing issues for Taizhou bridge project.
