Due to the increase of the intensity of the traffic net,more and more highway disasters threat to people’s life and property safety and highwaynormal operation.The highway from Shiyan to Tianshui lie in ShannanQinba Mountains inshaanxi, complex geological environment,all kinds of geological disasters frequently happenIn this context the paper is on the base of the actual investigation along the highwaygeological disaster situation for Shitian highway and build Shitian highway managementsystem of the highway geological by the application of advanced technology That play animportant part in highway disaster information management and highway geological disasterprevention and treatment.Firstly, on the basis of data collection and field survey, the paper analysis the geologicaldisaster types and developmental characteristics of the Shitian highway, From topography,meteorological, hydrological characteristics, rock mass characteristics and human engineeringactivities aspects summarizes the natural geography and the characteristics of the geologicalenvironment for the Shitian highway.in addition the paper describes the types anddistribution characteristics of landslides, avalanches, landslides and other geological disasters.Second,on the base of the previous studies,the paper discusses GIS technologydevelopment and application of the road sector, the basic functions and use of ArcGISsoftware also. Combination of ArcGIS software’s characteristics and the development statusof the road information in the field in China’s own characteristics, the overall function of thegeological disaster management system in the Shitian highway design requirements, as wellas how to solve key technical problems in the system development process.Finally, in the surrounding of Visual Studio2005, using C#language calling on ArcGISEngine developer SDK, combined with the user needs analysis for this system, build thesystem database to complete the road spatial data and attribute data to achieve the visualmanagement of the highway disaster management system through the application of the test,the test results in good condition, can be test run. |
