The Research And Implement On Media Communication Based On SIP

With the development of technology in network and multimedia field, there are more and more application on video monitoring, as the same time, customers are asking for higher quality of video monitoring system. Session Initiation Protocol is an application-layer control (signaling) protocol which can effectively support the equipment to get the information of monitoring system to realize the functions of locating, consulting media types and so on. Then the video monitoring terminal based on SIP will become an open, intelligent and real-time system.This thesis brings forward the content and significance of this task at first, followed by the introduction of Protocol such as SIP, SDP and so on. Then it points out the defects of exiting group calling, and puts out a series of improvements and optimization. Based on the model of general multimedia monitoring, the 3PCC application model is put forward in the intelligent multimedia monitoring using SIP. A part of creating and terminating sessions is designed, simulated and then tested.The thesis realizes the multimedia monitoring project based on 3PCC model with SIP, and brings the new features to the monitoring system. This thesis would be great reference for the future development of monitoring system and also raises experiences for the applications of group communication with SIP.
