Design And Implementation Of Test Automation System ,Jiangsu Telecom

The Jiangsu Telecommunication Business Support System undertakes the tasks of accepting and opening business in Jiangsu, developing convergence service, managing the customer brand and managing of sales activities fine. With the fast development of Jiangsu telecommunication business, the business types and business processes grow fast, the business support system becomes more and more complex and it is more and more difficult to cope with the frequency of system update and meet the requirements for quality. Meanwhile, in order to meet the requirements for the time of mobile Internet, the update of business support system is after 12 p.m. and there is less and less time for test, which makes it impossible to make complex and repeat test manually in a short time and makes this kind of test a burden. It has become a problem needed to be solved urgently to improve the efficiency of test work and reduce the labor intensity.This subject research is based on present automated test technology, focusing on automated test management system which suits Jiangsu Telecommunication Business Support System. A set of this complete system consists of automated test management platform, automated testing tools and automated test scripts. Automated testing tools deal with the recording and debugging of automated test scripts while automated test management platform manages and maintains the test resources, the test environment and automated test scripts.The research achievement of this thesis has been fulfilled in the construction and implementation of the automated test system of Jiangsu Telecommunication in 2011. In this process, the author mainly participated in work of demand analysis, compilation, overall design, script development, acceptance test, promotion and implementation. Since the construction of Jiangsu Telecommunication Automated Test System in 2011, the thirteen virtual machines on the platform and more than one hundred regression test case scripts operate steadily. Through the automated test system, the coverage rate of regression test cases in a unit time has increased by 30%. Only for the support staff of telecommunication business in Jiangsu Province, the test day has reduced by 2000 a year and the breakdown caused by the update of business support system has reduced by 20% on average, which promotes the business fast support to a great extent, ensures the system operate steadily and enhances the customer sensation.
