There are so many natural disasters in China. It is essential to establish a reliable and available satellite emergency communication system which can resist disasters and response quickly. Based on these needs, we set out a set of disaster recovery satellite communication system.The antenna servo control system of disaster recovery satellite communication system is studied in this thesis, which is the core part of the disaster recovery satellite communication system. The antenna servo control system of disaster recovery satellite communication system is different from that of the other fixed station, as it has a specially designed capacity of natural disasters recovery.If the antenna deviates from the target satellite due to earthquakes, typhoons and other natural disasters, the antenna can automatically start the search process and accurately aim at the target satellite. Then, the earth station can quickly restore communications. Firstly, a brief description of the composition and working principle of the disaster recovery earth station antenna servo system is presented. Then, the hardware and software design of the antenna servo control system is described in detail. To ensure the efficiency and accuracy of implementation of the control system, the modular design is used for the system control software.Disaster recovery earth station antenna servo system has taken antenna controller master/ slave backup and driver master/slave backup measures, coupled with a strong self-diagnostic function. To sum up, the system has a very high reliability and maintainability indicators.
